These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all services provided by FB Coring Concrete & Demolition, a construction specialist based at Apt 4 Fairgreen Court, Station Road, Kildare Town, Co. Kildare, Ireland ("we", "us", "our").

By requesting a quotation, accepting a quotation, or commissioning any work from us, you ("the Client") agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms apply to all domestic and commercial clients.

All services are carried out in accordance with Irish health and safety legislation and industry best practice. We reserve the right to decline any project that we determine to be unsafe or outside our area of competence.

3. Quotations & Pricing

All quotations provided by FB Coring Concrete & Demolition are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Quotations are based on information provided by the Client and/or an initial site inspection. Quotes are subject to change if:

  • Site conditions differ materially from those described or observed during assessment
  • Additional work is requested beyond the original scope
  • Unforeseen structural complications are encountered during works
  • Significant changes in materials or access requirements arise

We will notify the Client of any required price adjustment as soon as reasonably possible. No additional works will be carried out without the Client's written or verbal consent.

Site surveys: For larger or more complex projects, a site survey may be required before a final quotation can be issued. This will be agreed with the Client in advance.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be agreed in writing at the time of quotation acceptance. Standard terms are as follows:

  • Domestic residential works: payment due on completion
  • Commercial projects: invoiced on completion or by agreed milestone schedule
  • Larger projects may require a deposit prior to commencement

Late payment may result in work being suspended until outstanding balances are cleared. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act.

5. Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for ensuring the following prior to commencement of works:

  • Site access: Clear and safe access to the work area at the agreed time
  • Hazard disclosure: Disclosure of any known hazards including asbestos, live services, structural weaknesses, or contaminated materials
  • Utility marking: Location of all underground or concealed services (gas, water, electrical) must be identified before cutting, coring, or demolition works begin
  • Permissions: Any required planning permissions, building regulations approvals, or party wall notices are the Client's responsibility unless specifically agreed otherwise
  • Property protection: Adequate protection of furniture, flooring, and adjacent surfaces where not covered by our working area

FB Coring Concrete & Demolition accepts no liability for damage or delays arising from the Client's failure to meet these responsibilities.

6. Liability Limitations

FB Coring Concrete & Demolition carries appropriate public liability insurance. We are not liable for:

  • Damage caused by pre-existing structural defects not disclosed to us prior to works
  • Damage to unmarked or undisclosed services (gas, water, electricity, data, drainage)
  • Consequential losses, loss of profit, or loss of use arising from our works
  • Delays caused by factors outside our control (weather, third-party access issues, utility restrictions)

Our liability in any circumstances shall not exceed the value of the works contracted. Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Cancellation Policy

The Client may cancel or reschedule works by giving at least 48 hours' notice prior to the agreed start date. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to a call-out or preparation fee to cover costs already incurred.

FB Coring Concrete & Demolition reserves the right to reschedule works due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, equipment failure, or safety concerns. We will provide the Client with reasonable notice in such circumstances.
